US Leadership
​Hani Zaki is the Founder and Managing Director of Clinical Development Outsourcing Strategies™, LLC. He brings to the organization over 30 years of experience in the clinical development and commercialization of drugs and devices on a global basis, and provides strategic services across the spectrum of the clinical development outsourcing market. He held a number of Senior Executive and General Management positions for three of the top ten global Clinical Research Organizations, operating in the public and private sectors and managing Divisional and geographic P&Ls. He also developed numerous successful strategic partnerships and has additional expertise in the post-approval and emerging markets.

In Pharma, he was the head of the US Anti-infective clinical operations group for Rhône-Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi). While at RPR, he was part of the Worldwide Business and Market Development group of Dermik Laboratories and was responsible for licensing, M&A and joint venture activities, as well as the management of a broad network of international distributors and their sales, including the major markets of South America, Southern and Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa, South Africa, and Russia. He also contributed at Schering-Plough (now Merck & Co.) and Bristol-Myers (now BMS) in various clinical development roles, across many therapeutic areas, and was involved in the registration of a number of anti-virals, anti-bacterials, and allergy drugs. 

Hani received his BA in microbiology from Rutgers College, Rutgers University; his MPH in epidemiology from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine; and his MBA in pharmaceutical marketing from St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business & Management.

European Leadership
​Ineke Rijnhout is our European partner and is the Founder and Managing Partner at Beyond Tomorrow (www.beyondtomorrow.today), centrally based in the Netherlands. She specializes in providing strategic and operational guidance to various biotechnology start-up companies as well as CROs and other pharmaceutical services companies. Moreover, she is involved in the creation of effective business plans, business development and marketing strategies, and strategic partnerships, to build strong international organizations. She also provides expertise to her clients in accessing and raising capital in support of their clinical development programs, or identifying partners for strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions.

Ineke has a strong entrepreneurial drive and brings to the partnership over 20 years of experience and knowledge in the bio-pharmaceutical industry. She has international commercial experience as well as deep clinical operational expertise, and across a variety of therapeutic classes. She also held a number of senior executive leadership positions in the top ten CROs.

Ineke received her Master Degree in Medical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Leiden, the Netherlands. She has certifications from European Venture Capital Association (EVCA) and Pharmaceutical Licensing.
Hiroko Tadano leads business partnerships with our Japanese clients and is the Founder of Indigo Sciences, LLC, NYC, New York.  She is based in Brooklyn, New York, but she also travels frequently to Japan. 

Hiroko has over 10 years of experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry specializing in developing alliance strategies between Japanese organizations and US/European BioPharma collaborators, consultants, and CROs to accelerate their clinical development programs and product launch processes ex-Japan.  

Hiroko also helped establish global life science business strategies in the US, such as adding new revenue sources - for example, clinical development IT solutions - for BioPharma clients in Japan. She is a Leader in multitude of projects utilizing her bilingual and bi-cultural skills, and served on the Board of Directors of the Japan-US Health Care Group, which is supported by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in the US. 

Hiroko received her MA in International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, Monterey, California, with strong focus on commercial diplomacy.
